3/4 cup crème fraîche

1 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped

A pinch of fine sea salt

A pinch of freshly ground black pepper

6 slices rye bread

1/2 smoked salmon, thinly sliced

1 tin (30 grams) Royal Baeri Caviar
Method

In a bowl, gently mix the crème fraîche with the chopped dill, salt and black pepper until smooth. Do not overwhisk — the texture should remain light and silky.

Spread a thin, even layer of the seasoned crème fraîche over the rye bread slices.

Cover each slice with a layer of smoked salmon.

Trim off the crusts and cut each slice into three neat rectangles.
