Purée Passionfruit, Frozen — Boiron (1kg) pack

Passionfruit Purée Martini

Use Purée Passionfruit, Frozen, Boiron (1kg) to make this recipe. Passionfruit purée gives this Martini a sharper, more consistent fruit base than sweet liqueur alone. Vanilla softens the acidity, while lime should be added carefully so the drink stays balanced.

Ingredients

  • 100g passionfruit purée, chilled
  • 100ml vodka
  • 30ml vanilla syrup
  • 15ml fresh lime juice
  • Ice
  • 100ml dry sparkling wine, optional, served separately

Method

  1. Chill two coupe glasses.
  2. Add passionfruit purée, vodka, vanilla syrup and lime juice to an ice-filled shaker.
  3. Shake hard for 12 to 15 seconds and double-strain into the cold glasses.
  4. Serve sparkling wine in small glasses alongside, if using.

Why this recipe works

Purée supplies intense acidity and fruit solids, while vanilla syrup rounds the edges without covering the tropical aroma. Double-straining gives a cleaner texture.

Practical tips and variations

  • Taste the purée before adding the full lime measure.
  • For an alcohol-free version, replace vodka with cold white tea and serve with alcohol-free sparkling wine.
  • Mix the still base ahead, but shake with ice only at serving time.

Serving and storage

Refrigerate the mixed still base for up to four hours. Do not store once diluted with ice.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as a Pornstar Martini?

It uses the same passionfruit, vanilla and sparkling-wine profile, presented here with a descriptive recipe title.

Can I use gin?

Yes, but choose a light gin so botanicals do not dominate the fruit.

Does the main recipe contain alcohol?

Yes. Use the white-tea variation for a zero-alcohol drink.
