Gift Card Terms & Conditions

1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and use of Beleaev Gift Cards (each a "Gift Card"). Please read them before purchasing or using a Gift Card. If you have any questions, contact us at orders@beleaev.com.

2. General

2.1 Gift Cards are issued by BELEAEV CAVIAR & GOURMET LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14519524. Our registered office is 85 Great Portland Street, First Floor Office, London, England, W1W 7LT. In these terms, "Beleaev", "we", "us" and "our" refer to this company.

2.2 A Gift Card holds a monetary value paid for in advance. It is not a credit, charge or debit card. The balance does not earn interest.

2.3 Currency. Gift Cards are available to purchase in GBP for the United Kingdom, EUR for the European Union and AED for the United Arab Emirates. The currency shown at purchase applies to that transaction. If a Gift Card is redeemed in another supported checkout currency, its value may be converted at the exchange rate in effect at redemption. Exchange-rate changes may affect the value shown.

2.4 You must be aged 18 or over to purchase a Gift Card.

2.5 Beleaev Gift Cards do not expire.

3. Purchase and delivery

3.1 Gift Cards are digital and are delivered by email. Delivery normally takes place shortly after payment is processed, or on the delivery date selected by the purchaser. Delivery may be delayed if the email address supplied is incorrect or incomplete.

3.2 You may send a Gift Card to your own email address or directly to a recipient. You may also include a short personal message.

3.3 Promotional codes and discounts do not normally apply to Gift Cards unless an offer expressly states otherwise.

3.4 A Gift Card cannot be used to purchase another Gift Card.

4. Using your Gift Card

4.1 Gift Cards may be redeemed against eligible products at beleaev.com. The balance is applied to the total order value and may include applicable taxes and delivery charges.

4.2 Enter the Gift Card code at checkout. The available value will be deducted from the order total.

4.3 If the order total is lower than the available balance, the remaining balance stays on the Gift Card for future purchases.

4.4 If the order total is higher than the available balance, the difference must be paid using another accepted payment method or another Gift Card.

4.5 Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash, and no cash change is given.

4.6 A Gift Card may be used for the initial order in a subscription. It cannot be stored as the payment method for later recurring subscription payments. An eligible payment method is required for those payments.

4.7 If an item purchased with a Gift Card is refunded, the relevant amount will normally be returned to the Gift Card balance. If that Gift Card has been deactivated, we may issue a new Gift Card for the refund amount.

5. Cancellation and refunds

5.1 The original purchaser may request cancellation and a refund within 14 days of purchase if the Gift Card is entirely unused. Please contact orders@beleaev.com and include the order number.

5.2 We cannot refund any value that has already been redeemed. If a Gift Card has been partly redeemed, contact us within the 14-day cancellation period. We will review the unused balance in accordance with your statutory rights.

5.3 An approved refund will be made to the original payment method. The Gift Card will then be deactivated and cannot be used.

5.4 Deactivated Gift Cards cannot be reactivated or reloaded. Where value must be restored, we may issue a new Gift Card.

5.5 Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

6. Security

6.1 Treat the Gift Card code as you would cash. Keep it confidential and share it only with the intended recipient.

6.2 Contact us promptly if you believe a Gift Card has been lost, stolen or used without permission. We are not responsible for unauthorised use unless it results from our breach, negligence or another liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Fraud and misuse

7.1 We may suspend or cancel a Gift Card, or refuse a transaction, where we reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful activity. We may take the same action where these terms have been breached.

7.2 We may take lawful steps to recover losses caused by fraudulent or unlawful use.

8. Changes to these terms

8.1 We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when a Gift Card is purchased will continue to apply to it. An exception applies where a change is required by law or benefits the holder without reducing their rights.

9. Privacy

9.1 We process personal information connected with Gift Cards in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

10.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, but this does not limit any mandatory consumer rights or protections available where you live.
